A Motiv8 Supplier Engagement Day is an exclusively tailored day which is designed for manufacturers to meet relevant suppliers they have a direct interest in.
Firstly Motiv8 consult with the manufacturer for each and every event to fully understand their areas of interest, i.e what products / services / technologies / innovations etc are they interested in, typically this is done at Director, senior management, head of department and across all areas of the business. This gives us a brief, we then use this information to source and match relevant companies to attend the event. If you are not relevant then we wont let you join.
Motiv8 then work very closely with the manufacturer to organise the Supplier Engagement Day, which is held on-site at the manufacturer and is exclusively for their staff. We work with them to promote the event internally from the moment the date is agreed, nearer the time the event is promoted to all staff via a series of internal emails, its promoted to all department managers directly, appears on their intranet….additionally Motiv8 provide physical event banners for onsite display showing all the event details and participating suppliers and we create a private dedicated event page that links to all the suppliers which is hidden within the Motiv8 Search platform.
Each event has a dedicated supplier area, this is where every participating suppliers has exhibition display space that creates the event hub which runs all day, this can range from 10-60 suppliers and is always located onsite in key strategic locations for maximum exposure. In addition suppliers have the option (subject to approval) to hold a fixed time and subject specific presentation in a private room.
The benefit for the manufacturer and its’ staff is simply. They are able to meet directly with relevant suppliers, all in one place, all in one day and all without leaving the workplace.
The benefit for the supplier is vast, before you even step foot in the building your details have already been promoted to the entire manufacturer and every single employee 3 times, you are then onsite for an entire day giving you direct exposure to all the key people and you are there because what you offer is of interest to them.
In all respects the total opposite of the far to common and outdated approach of generic trade-shows / exhibitions.
